Comfort and Regeneration in the Reuse of Spaces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proposed topic aims to explore a multisensory approach to the reuse of abandoned architecture and the interior and spatial design. Our relationship with the built and natural landscape not only consists of visual contemplation, but simultaneously involves all other perceptive modalities. Inter-corporeality and the connection with places assume a founding value for our personality: being embodied beings, minds, bodies, environment and culture are connected to each other at different levels. Cross-modal correspondences are the key to effective multisensory design. When the different senses perceive coherent stimuli, the brain automatically associates and processes them more smoothly, making users experience a mental state associated with aesthetics and comfort.
